We’re excited to be entering that time in the Midwest when iced coffee and cold brew tastes so refreshing! We’re sharing our favorite way you can enjoy cold brew at home (and a scaled down version of our in-house method). We hope you enjoy our recommendations!
Benefits of Cold Brew include up to 67% less acidity than traditionally brewed coffee methods. It’s sweeter and smoother – Because the grounds aren’t exposed to high temps, cold brewed methods usually produce more flavorful and less bitter coffee.

Main Street Cold Brew Recipe:
2 cups coarse ground coffee (medium-coarse)
Costa Rican or Columbian preferred
4 quarts water
Heavy Whipping Cream, Half & Half, Sweetened Condensed Milk
Place grounds in reusable filter, cheesecloth, or directly in water. Cold Brew 12 hours.
Pour coffee/water mixture through the strainer, allowing all liquid to run through. Discard grounds.
Place coffee liquid in the fridge and allow to cool. Pour over ice and add sweetener or cream as desired .
