The shot
Balanced by design. A great shot, every time.
Great espresso is all about balance — enough body to stand up to milk, enough sweetness to sip straight, and none of the harsh bitterness that ruins a morning. We blend the highest grades of coffees from different parts of the world so every extraction pulls smooth, vibrant and consistent, with a crema you'll want to photograph.

Making espresso at home
Your shot, in four simple steps
-
1
Grind fine & dose
Grind whole beans fine — like powdered sugar — right before brewing. Dose about 18 g for a double shot.
-
2
Level & tamp
Settle the grounds evenly in the basket, then tamp firm and flat so water flows through every bit of coffee.
-
3
Pull 25–30 seconds
Aim for roughly 36 g of espresso. Too fast and sour? Grind finer. Too slow and bitter? Go a touch coarser.
-
4
Make it your drink
Sip it straight, add steamed milk for a latte, or hot water for an Americano. Your café, your rules.
Why make espresso at home
The café experience, minus the café line
-
Save on your daily latte. A home-pulled shot costs a fraction of a coffee-shop drink — every single day.
-
Skip the drive-thru. Your favorite drink is ready in minutes, in your slippers, in your own mug.
-
Dial it in your way. Single or double, ristretto or long, oat milk or whole — you're the barista.
-
Consistency you can count on. A balanced blend is forgiving, so your shots taste great while you learn.
-
Play host. Brunch guests? Serve cappuccinos that taste like they came from your favorite café.
-
Fresh beans, on repeat. Roaster Rewards delivers freshly roasted espresso before your hopper runs dry.

Questions, answered
What does the Espresso Blend taste like?
Smooth, vibrant and balanced — full-bodied enough for milk drinks, smooth enough to sip as a straight shot, without harsh bitterness.
Do I need an espresso machine?
A home espresso machine gives you true café-style shots, but this blend also makes rich, concentrated coffee in a moka pot or AeroPress — and a bold cup in a drip brewer.
Whole bean or ground — which should I choose?
For the best shot from an espresso machine, choose whole bean and grind fine just before brewing — it lets you dial in each shot and keeps the beans fresh longest. Ground is ready to go straight out of the bag.
Is there a decaf version?
Yes. Choose "Decaf" under Caffeine above for an evening latte. It's available in every size, whole bean or ground.
Which size should I choose?
The 10 oz bag is a great way to dial it in, the 1 lb bag suits a daily latte habit, and the 5 lb bag is made for espresso-loving households and offices.
How should I store my beans?
Keep them sealed in an airtight container, away from light, heat and moisture. Skip the fridge — condensation dulls the flavor and the crema.
