Young, hand-plucked organic jasmine green tea shoots are harvested in the spring in south China tea gardens. They are married with hand-harvested fresh jasmine buds. After the tea leaves gently absorb the floral scent, the jasmine is removed, resulting int this delicate and perfectly balanced infusion.
Green tea contains less than a quarter the amount of caffeine per cup than in a similar-sized cup of coffee.
Steeping green tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water just short of boiling. Then pour 6 oz of water over tea and steep for 1-3 minutes (if using a tea bag) or 2-4 minutes (if using full-leaf tea.)
